I'm a Singaporean designer living in Tokyo. I'm an aspiring minimalist, who loves travel and fashion.

What does this blog try to do?

This blog tries to share with you my view on leading the happiest, most fulfilling lifestyle. Like any growing individual, my views and ideas change and evolve over time. I hope to share insights on the various topics that I am interested in. When I am interested in something, I spend a lot of time and money to go in-depth so I can be the most knowledgeable in that subject.

My personal story

I worked in the advertising industry in Singapore. It was exciting but at the same time, late nights and the essence of what I was doing did not appeal to me. I loved Singapore, but being there all my life, I felt the need to move on to something brand new.

It was my first trip to Japan that sparked my interest to move there. I took up the language and visited the country more than 20 times before finally trying to get a job. Due to a lack of a degree, my visa was rejected a few times, it was only 2 years after I decided to move that I managed to obtain a visa.

Now, I work as a semi-remote designer (or digital nomad, if you like). I enjoy traveling around the country, eating great food and meeting awesome people. I hope to share some of those stories here with you.

Over the years, I've also moved to an all black wardrobe and started writing in-depth reviews about gear and apparel that could elevate your travels.

I hope you enjoy your time here. Check out this post if you are interested in working with me.
