To commemorate their 75 anniversary, Maine based shoemakers Bass, makers of the first penny loafer famously worn by the late Michael Jackson, have teamed up with one of my favourite brands to collaborate with. I own their Timberland collaboration water shoe and was disappointed when they ran out of stock on their Soludos collaboration espadrilles, but this has to be a best one yet. Just went I was thinking of getting a pair of penny loafers to complete my prep look, Opening Ceremony and Bass re-interpreted the iconic Bass WeeJuns to create a middle ground between the classic and trend, perfect for my needs.
