Nike X Undercover "Gyakusou"
Why would you buy Nike in Japan when Nike is available everywhere else in the world. Answer: Nike Harajuku. It’s not just a place where you shop for kicks, but an entire in-store experience. At the time of my visit, $400 track suits were available as part of the Nike x Undercover GYAKUSOU collection. Apart from being the central ground of most of Nike’s collaboration and where you can probably find most of Nike’s more trendy range, one other thing here sets it apart from outlets anywhere else, NIKEiD studio.
NIKEiD studio allows you to customize your very own pair of Nike’s, down to the colours and material. I have not personally tried this service, but my friend claims that it has more custom options as compared to the customization services offered at Adidas Performance Center.
