Visionary director Takeshi Kitano has a thing for acting in his own films. In this trailer for Outrage, he plays a ousted Yakuza member that now seeks to take revenge. I’ve learnt that you don’t ever want to mess with the Yaks. And if you decided you do want to, you better be Takeshi Kitano.
The movie is said to contain a frightening level of violence, which isn’t new to Yakuza films. Not too shabby for Takeshi’s first Yakuza film since 2001, although the director was reluctant to label it as a return to his roots.
