You can only be a fan of collaborations for so long until you get the feeling that maybe these big brands are trying to rip you off with the usual insane price tag that comes with it. Japan especially, has had a wonderful history of great fashion collaborations which has seen the likes of Bape X Daiwa, Undercover X Uniqlo, Mastermind X Timberland and many many more.
But, it’s hard to resist when the two brands involved are two of your favourites. Fred Perry has seen a cult following (much to my dismay) with the opening of two stores in Singapore. Beams, however, has remained to be elusive. This collaboration has joined these two brands together, taking elements that are unique to each and putting them together. The signature stripes from Fred Perry and Beam’s clean approach to making menswear. Not so sure what the price will be, but expect your wallet not to recover anytime soon.
