The Dancing Hell’s Angels: Yanki Pompadour

If you come to Yoyogi Park on a Sunday, chances are that you’ll notice a gang of leather-clad greasers dancing away to showy rock tunes, oblivious to the surrounding crowds. This biker gang is none other than the Yanki Pompadour, well known to the many visitors of the beautiful park. In true Bōsōzoku fashion, dancing near a group of line dancers, the sight of middle-aged men dancing without care is very uniquely Japan.

Also, these guys are extremely open to photo/video taking, so long as you don’t get in their way. I mean, who dances smack in front of the entrance of one of the most popular parks in Tokyo and not want attention. They love attention! But needless to say, these guys being a gang (look at their tattoos!), are not to be offended.
