If you are a kitchen staff, you have just reached Mecca. Kappabashi dori near Asakusa is the ultimate destination to shop for kitchenware. They have everything and I mean everything. Utensils, displays, signs, uniforms, and most noteworthy so, the high quality knives that Japan is known for.
My main purpose of coming here was to find Miyamoto Musashi’s Higo knife, which I failed miserably at. The street remained focus to things you need in a kitchen, and a pocket knife was not one of those items. Unless you are a kitchen staff, unhealthily obsessed with kitchenware or just around the area, I would give this street a miss.
