I’m a Singaporean product designer living in Tokyo. I enjoy good food, have an unhealthy obsession with the clothing brand Supreme and ironically am interested in a minimalist and simple life. I write about these things on my blog. I keep this blog very personal.
What does this blog try to do?
This blog tries to share with you my view on leading the happiest, most fulfilling lifestyle. Like any growing individual, my views and ideas change and evolve over time. I hope to share insights on the various topics that I am interested in. When I am interested in something, I spend a lot of time and money to go in-depth so I can be the most knowledgeable in that subject.
My personal story
I worked in the advertising industry in Singapore. It was exciting but at the same time, late nights and the essence of what I was doing did not appeal to me. I loved Singapore, but being there all my life, I felt the need to move on to something brand new.
It was my first trip to Japan that sparked my interest to move there. I took up the language and visited the country more than 20 times before finally trying to get a job. Due to a lack of a degree, my visa was rejected a few times, it was only 2 years after I decided to move that I managed to obtain a visa.
Now, I work remotely as a product designer. I enjoy travel around the country, eating great food and meeting awesome people. I hope to share some of those stories here with you.
Articles might contain affliate links but I would never write anything that I didn’t personally believe in myself. The point of these articles is to share as much as my knowledge with the rest of you, so you will often find in-depth details, good or bad, about services or products I share.
